I’m Ethan Hawker, a lifelong Hartland resident, educator, coach, husband, and father.

For more than 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with students, families, and colleagues across our community. I’ve served as a teacher, coach, curriculum coordinator, and administrator. I recently retired from teaching, but I found my way back into the classroom through a long-term substitute teaching position last year. It’s tough to stop doing something so rewarding.

I believe in the power of libraries to transform lives and strengthen communities. Cromaine has been an essential part of our community for generations, and I’m committed to helping it grow and thrive.
